Training

Four initial training courses (Master 2 level) on specific themes linked to governance and regulation are supported by the Chair: masters "Network Industries and the Digital Economy", Telecommunications and Media Management", "Market Law and Regulation", " and "Banking and Finance".

Master Network Industries and the Digital Economy

The aim of the Master Network Industries and the Digital Economy, directed by Eric Brousseau and jointly run by Dauphine, Ecole Polytechnique, Télécom ParisTech, Supélec and Université Paris-Sud, is to train high-level students to master the operating principles of network industries and the digital economy, with the analytical and methodological skills to follow fast-changing phenomena, either in the world of research and higher education, or in operational positions in companies, government departments, consumer or user groups, or regulatory institutions.

Master Telecommunications and Media Management

At the heart of current media changes, the Master Telecommunications and Media Management (Master 226), directed by Henri Isaac, offers students from a wide range of backgrounds the opportunity to acquire high-quality qualifications in the telecommunications and media sector. With more than 30 years' experience, this university course is open to the world of work and is designed to prepare students for specialisations in which they will easily find employment, both in France and abroad.

Master Market Law and Regulation

Le Master Market Law and Regulation (Master 291), directed by Claudie Boiteau, meets the new professional qualification requirements of lawyers whose duties in regulated markets require them to understand and master regulations and procedures, including litigation, as well as the associated economic mechanisms.

Master Banking and Finance

The Master Banking and Finance (Master 224), directed by Hervé Alexandre, offers training that covers the full range of banking and financial professions and activities, giving students a solid professional and scientific culture and enabling them to choose their speciality through a wide range of options and modules. The programme is designed to support and, in some cases, anticipate the transformation of the banking and finance professions, by paying constant attention to product and business innovation, technological breakthroughs, international expansion, institutional and legal changes, changes in accounting standards and regulatory methods, and changes in the financial behaviour of companies, other organisations and individuals.
