Isac Olave completed his doctoral thesis in management sciences under the supervision of Éric Brousseau at the Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, where he was an active member of the Governance and Regulation Chair.
He holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Master's degree in Economic Analysis and Policy (APE) from the Paris School of Economics (PSE). He previously worked as an energy contracts analyst at the Central Bank of Mexico, within the General Directorate of the Mexican Petroleum Fund. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NEOMA Business School.
His research in applied economics is at the crossroads of regulatory economics, organisational economics and public management, with a particular focus on digitalisation and the ecological transition. Its work aims to contribute to the development of public policies adapted to the challenges of regulated sectors, in particular mobility and energy. In 2024, he defended the thesis entitled ‘The Integration of Digital Mobility Platforms in Multimodal Transport Systems’, which examines the introduction of digital mobility platforms and the policy challenges for developing an efficient and sustainable transport system.
