Damien Mayaux

Damien Mayaux is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair Governance and Regulation of the University Paris Dauphine. His research uses experimental, empirical and theoretical methods at the intersection of industrial organization and behavioral economics to address questions related to digital regulation and food consumption.
Within the Chair, he works more specifically on the regulation of online marketing practices (dark patterns, steering) and the business models of data-sharing ecosystem (with a focus on the agroindustry within the CEADS project).
Damien defended his PhD at the Paris School of Economics in 2025. He was Research Fellow at the IMT School for Higher Studies Lucca from May 2024 to October 2025.
