After twelve years of experience in local government, notably as Director General of Services for the Champagne-Ardenne Regional Council and then the Picardy Regional Council, Arnaud Bazire joined the SUEZ Group in 1999. He has held numerous management positions in France and abroad. He worked in the Construction subsidiary, in the group's development department, before being appointed Director of the Hauts-de-France region, then the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of SUEZ Eau France.

Since October 2021, he has been Chief Executive Officer in charge of the Group's Water France activities.

In 2023, he was also appointed President of the Professional Federation of Water Companies (FP2E).
