Tokenisation involves transferring certain rights from a real asset to a token that can be traded on a blockchain. The liquidity created and the transparency allow new investors to finance infrastructure. The challenge then lies in aligning the interests of the - often sole - holder of the property rights to the infrastructure with those of the token holders. Another challenge lies in the quality and completeness of the information inserted into the blockchain... otherwise there are considerable legal and financial risks to be faced ex-post.
