Francesc Trillas has a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Department of Applied Economics). He was a research Fellow at the London Business School (1999-2002) and a Visiting Scholar at UC-Berkeley (2008). He has published extensively and does research on regulatory economics and political economy.
