Luís is Associate Director and heads the Competition practice at Frontier Economics in Paris.
He specialises in competition economics and has extensive experience of merger control and litigation.
He regularly appears before the European Commission and the competition authorities in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. His experience covers various sectors such as financial services (London Stock Exchange), telecommunications (Deutsche Telecom), digital (Meta), consumer products (Coty) and retail (Tesco).
He also has expertise in litigation before the courts, and has recently advised clients in telecommunications (Vodafone), transport (Volvo/Renault), and industrial products (Asahi), financial services (Mastercard) and across various jurisdictions in Europe (France, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Hungary, Portugal).
Luís was listed in Who's Who Legal for Economists in 2022 and received the Lexology Client Choice Award in 2022 and 2023.
Prior to joining Frontier, Luis worked in investment banking. Luis has a Master's degree in Economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain).
