Martine Gouriet

Head of Digital Sovereignty, Usage and Innovation within the EDF Group’s Digital Division, and a member of the Gaia-X Board

Martine Gouriet has been Director of Digital Sovereignty, Usage and Innovation within the EDF Group’s Digital Division since January 2025. She was previously Director of Shared IT and Telecoms Services at the company. She also headed EDF’s subsidiary, Edelia, which specialises in energy efficiency and smart grids (smart grids). She worked for 17 years at Orange, where her achievements included launching IP television and video-on-demand (VOD) in France.

Martine Gouriet is also a member of the board of directors of GAIA-X (the European Association for Data and the Cloud) and was named ‘Digital Woman of the Year’ in France by ‘Le Monde Informatique’ in 2026.

Martine Gouriet has developed strong expertise in digital policy, innovation, technical development and the launch of new services.

She is a graduate of École Polytechnique and Télécom ParisTech.
