Chair Club

OECD

The Governance and Regulation Chair and the Regulators' Club work closely with the Network of Economic Regulators (NER), created in April 2013 within the OECD's Regulatory Policy Division. The NER brings together regulators from all OECD countries. It is a forum in which regulators from more than 34 countries share their experience and help to develop best practice guides for regulators, businesses and governments.

Our team helps to prepare and lead these debates. In particular, we are involved in joint research with OECD teams on assessing and comparing the independence of regulatory authorities in network industries.

PSL

The Université de Recherche Paris Science et Lettre (PSL) brings together the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Collège de France, ESPCI, Chimie ParisTech, Observatoire de Paris, Université Paris-Dauphine, Institut Curie and Mines Paris Tech. The CNRS, INSERM and INRIA are also associated with this cluster, which brings together a total of 20 institutions, 14,000 students, 2,500 researchers and 107 laboratories. It is home to many prestigious academic prize-winners in several disciplines, including around twenty Nobel Prize winners, ten Fields Medals and thirty CNRS Gold Medals.

IOEA

The Institutional and Organizational Economics Academy (IOEA, formerly the European School on New Institutional Economics, ESNIE) was founded in 2002 by Eric Brousseau. The IOEA seeks both to promote the development of institutional and organisational economics in Europe and to strengthen the influence of European research within the relevant international community. Institutional and organisational economics has been one of the most fertile fields of research in economics over the last thirty years. It is concerned with the theoretical and empirical analysis of the diversity of formal and informal mechanisms that enable economic coordination between agents, the interactions between these different mechanisms and their consequences for economic and social performance and development.

SIOE

The Society for Institutional & Organizational Economics (SIOE, formerly known as the International Society for New-Institutional Economics - ISNIE) was founded in 1997 by Ronald Coase and Douglass North, the Nobel laureates who created New-Institutional Economics.

Florence School of Regulation

The Florence School of Regulation (FSR) of the European Institute of Florence (EUI) is a forum for European aspects of regulation. It organises seminars for executives and decision-makers from regulatory authorities (national and European) and regulated companies. It also organises short Executive Education programmes, particularly in the fields of energy, telecommunications and media, transport, banking and finance, water and wastewater services.

ACSS

The ACSS-PSL Institute was launched in November 2021 and brings together around thirty researchers from PSL (Dauphine, ENS and INSP). The aim is to set up a platform to encourage pooling and synergies between researchers developing applied work on the functioning of social, economic and political groups, based on data-intensive approaches.

Association of Energy Economists

The Association of Energy Economists (AEE) brings together energy economists, whether they belong to producing or transforming companies, to the various consumer sectors, to the Administration, to the teaching world, to research institutes, to consultancy firms...
It deals with the economic science applied to energy, its role in economic and political life and, in particular, the management decision-making processes and strategic choices. The international network to which the EEA belongs currently has over 4,000 members in more than 60 countries.

The Public-Private Partnerships Chair

The Public-Private Partnerships Chair at IAE Paris was created as a result of the significant accumulation of data and knowledge on the subject and on the practices of governments, local authorities and businesses in the field of public-private contracts or public-private partnerships in the broadest sense (concessions, public service delegations, partnership contracts, PFI, etc.).
