Stéphanie Decoopman has been Deputy Director General of the AP-HP since 1 September 2021. Since December 2020, Stéphanie Decoopman has been the AP-HP's Director of Clinical Research and Innovation, a role she will continue to manage until a new Director is appointed. Previously, she had been head of department and deputy director of the General Directorate for Healthcare Provision (DGOS) at the Ministry of Health and Solidarity, where she had supervised a number of issues relating to the management of research, in conjunction with the MESRI and all the partners, particularly hospital and university partners. On behalf of the DGOS, she monitored the work on the law to transform the healthcare system and the law on research programming, working closely with the DGRI and the Ségur discussions, particularly on the research and HU aspects.
A graduate of the IEP in Lille and the EHESP, Stéphanie Decoopman has spent a large part of her career in the hospital sector at the Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris, first in functional management positions in hospitals, then at head office as deputy director of the economic and financial management, investment and assets department. From 2013, she was Director of the Robert Debré Hospital, and from 2017, Director of the Paris-Ouest University Hospitals.
