Chairman of Ressorts, Sébastien is the co-founder of this socially useful company with a mission. Resosrts incubates projects that accelerate the transition of housing to a Net Zero trajectory. Priority is given to projects with the potential for large-scale deployment. He is also director of the public interest cooperation movement EnergieSprong France.
Before co-founding and joining Ressorts, he ran the GreenFlex consultancy business, was a partner in BeCitizen and worked for Veolia, SNCF and ADEME. He is an EU expert on sustainable cities and energy efficiency. He is a guest lecturer at professional and university conferences.
He is a director of the ‘La Fabrique Ecologique’ think tank and of the ‘Construction 21’ association of sustainable city professionals.
Sébastien is a graduate of the engineering school Centrale Lille, specialising in construction and planning, and holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
His work has earned him the Smart City prize from Le Monde newspaper in 2016, the World Green Building Council's World Sustainable Building Award in 2018, the European Commission's Most Innovative Energy Project Award in 2019, Vice Winner of the EUROPAN-15 Productive City competition in 2019 and the gold medal in the World Habitat Award from the UN Habitat programme.
