Solange Martin holds a doctorate in the sociology of science and technology, as well as degrees in economics and philosophy. She began her career as a researcher before joining the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) in 2006. She also joined the Ministry of the Environment in 2010 and the secretariat of the High Council for Climate (HCC) in 2020.  Her area of expertise concerns the human and social dimensions of transition, and more specifically issues relating to the ‘just transition’.
