Eliza Mahdavy

Eliza Mahdavy is currently CSR Director at Enedis, the operator of the electricity distribution network and the leading Mission Company in the energy sector in France. In this role, she implements Enedis' CSR Policy, which aims to create a positive impact on the planet, on people and territories.
Previously, she was Head of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Performance for the EDF Group, within the Impact Department, where she steered dialogue with external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies and NGOs. In 2020, she was appointed as an expert to the advisory board of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), contributing to the global adoption of its standards in 2021 until its integration into the ISSB. Under her leadership, EDF was included and maintained in the CAC 40 ESG index until its delisting.
She was also a member of EFRAG's sector working group on energy, where she contributed to the foundations of the CSRD sector standards.
She also held the position of Finance Director at G2S, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, where she co-managed finance and human resources, introducing the first profit-sharing agreements and founding social agreements, including those on teleworking and the employment of seniors. Eliza began her career in consulting in Paris and London, before joining Eurogroup Consulting, where she contributed to transformation projects for major industrial groups.
She holds a master's degree in sociology from IEP Paris and took part in the ESG Women's Leadership Programme in Sustainable Finance and Value Creation at Yale School of Management in 2022.
