Frédéric DELORME

Frédéric Delorme has served SNCF Group as Chief Safety Officer since 2016.
After graduating from École Polytechnique and earning an engineering degree from École nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, he began his career in 1985, working in maritime construction in Toulon and Paris.
In 1991 Mr Delorme joined SNCF, where he served in successive positions as head of Civil Engineering, Director of the Brittany Region, Commercial Director for the Freight Division, Programme and Product Director for the Freight Division, Director for the South-East Paris region, and ultimately head of Engineering at SNCF Infra.
In January 2013, he joined Systra, SNCF’s subsidiary for public transport infrastructure engineering, as Chief Operating Officer and also became a member of its Executive Board.
Systra is an international engineering firm, a world leader in high speed line, railways, metro and tramways. Operating in 80 countries from all continents, Systra employs 6 000 people from all over the world.
In January 2016, Frédéric Delorme was named Chief Safety Officer for the entire SNCF Group, to advance our goal of deploying a simple, unified management structure to ensure the safety of the rail system.
