Hortense de Chabot-Tramecourt has a doctorate in political science from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. She specialises in parliamentary studies and has written a thesis on the parliamentary evaluation and control procedure since the 2008 constitutional reform. She is an associate researcher at the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire d'évaluation des politiques publiques (LIEPP), she teaches at Sciences Po Paris in the Master II Public Affairs programme. After working for more than ten years at the French National Assembly, she has co-authored two books on parliamentary procedure: Le petit guide de l'amendement (Pepper Editions/l'Harmattan- 2022) and Le Petit Guide du contrôle parlementaire (Pepper Editions/l'Harmattan- 2023).
