A specialist in network regulation, he has worked for Ofgem on reforming the regulatory framework and implementing the RIIO approach. He also assists networks throughout the consultation and tariff review processes. For the past three years in particular, he has been advising an electricity distribution network on the implementation of RIIO. Having worked closely with the operator's teams throughout the business plan and tariff review process, he will be giving his feedback on the changing role of users in this approach.
