On 1 September 2016, Nicolas PAULISSEN was appointed to the position of General Delegate of the Union of French Airports (UAF).

Nicolas PAULISSEN had been General Delegate of the Fédération Nationale des Transports Routiers (FNTR) since September 2013. He had previously been Deputy Managing Director of the FNTR between June 2007 and September 2013.

Nicolas Paulissen was adviser in charge of culture and the media in the cabinet of Brigitte Girardin, Minister for Overseas France (2002-2005) and then Minister for Cooperation, Development and Francophony (2005-2007).

Nicolas Paulissen was also Secretary General of the Rabat Institute between 1998 and 2002.

Nicolas PAULISSEN is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure.
