Richard Price is Chairman of the UK Office of Rail Regulation and of the UK Regulators' Network, an organisation which brings together a large number of UK regulators with the aim of improving the coherence and effectiveness of sectoral regulation. This economist has worked both in the private sector and in the public sector, notably in the Treasury. In all these capacities he has worked on reform programmes in the UK, Eastern Europe and Asia. Richard Price is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Economic Society. He became Rail Regulator in 2011 and chaired the founding of the UK Regulators' Club in spring 2014.
