Séverine Salgado is Director General of Mutualité Française.

Séverine Salgado has been Director General of Mutualité Française since 1 July 2021. Delegate Director, Health Director at the Fédération nationale de Mutualité Française since 2017, she previously held various responsibilities within the State administration, in particular at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

She began her career as a Treasury inspector at the Directorate-General of Public Finances, before joining the Social Security Department in 2008, where she was successively project manager to the Director of Social Security, head of the office for relations with healthcare professionals and head of the European and International Affairs Division. She was also rapporteur for the third chamber of the Court of Audit - higher education and research sector (2012-2014).

A graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration, Séverine Salgado holds a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in European Banking and Finance from the Université des Sciences Sociales in Toulouse and is a graduate of the IEP in Toulouse.
