Simon Porcher

Associate Professor of Strategy and Public Management at Paris Dauphine-PSL University

Simon Porcher is Associate Professor of Strategy and Public Management at Paris Dauphine University, PSL Research University and a member of the UMR CNRS Dauphine Recherche en Management. 

His work focuses on the management and pricing of public water services and public-private partnerships. He has published over 50 research articles and book chapters, co-edited the collective work ‘Facing the challenges of water governance’ (Palgrave, 2018) and is the author of the essay ‘La fin de l'eau?’ (Fayard, 2024), which won an award from the Académie des Sciences Morales et Politiques.

Simon Porcher has been recognised as one of the world's top 40 management professors under 40 by Poets & Quants and has received several awards for his research, including the Academy of Management's Best Dissertation Award (PNP division) and a Horizon 2020 grant from the European Commission. 

Before joining Université Paris Dauphine, PSL Research University, he was a university professor at Université Paris Panthéon-Assas, HDR lecturer and scientific director of the economics of public-private partnerships chair at IAE Paris, fellow at the London School of Economics and Robert Schuman fellow at the European University Institute in Florence.
