Thomas Dautieu is Deputy Director of Compliance at the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), with specific responsibility for the economic and health sectors. He began his career at the CNIL working on issues relating to electronic communications, before becoming head of the inspections department. He is also the author of legal articles on data protection and independent administrative authorities, and is a lecturer at PANTHEON-ASSAS University. Previously, Thomas Dautieu worked at the Conseil supérieur de l'audiovisuel (CSA) as deputy director of programmes.
