Daniel is a Junior Policy Analyst at the Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate in the Paris-based Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). His role involves facilitating multistakeholder dialogues and translating expert knowledge to a policy audience on a broad array of topics, particularly on anticipatory governance of emerging technologies like synthetic biology and advanced materials. Prior to this, he worked in EU government affairs for Johnson & Johnson in Brussels, analysing legislation and developing policy positions on digital health, sustainability and pharmaceuticals. He previously also held various roles at the European Commission, the United Nations and healthtech startups. He holds a Master’s in International Public Policy from University College London and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
