After a 25 years international career in consulting (Arthur Andersen and KPMG), in high security printing (Banknote Corporation of America), in the Internet of Things (Sigfox) and in the smart card and digital security industry of which 5 years as CEO of Oberthur Technologies (now IDEMIA), Xavier Drilhon co-founded MiTrust to bring trust to the digital world by enabling users to share authentic personal data under their strict control while enabling full transparency and end-to-end privacy.
MiTrust is a trusted intermediary for sharing personal data. Its service enables users to share authentic data directly from trusted sources (banks, insurers, public services, telecom operators, etc.) in just a few clicks, in real time, and under their strict control. It is already deployed in three countries (France, Germany and the Netherlands) and in several industries including banking, insurance and real estate.
The company is registered with the ACPR (an administrative authority within the Bank of France) as an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) and was the first French company approved as a Data Intermediation Service Provider (DISP) recognised in the EU by Arcep, the France’s Electronic Communications, Postal and Print media distribution Regulatory Authority.
Since March 2025, Xavier is also the Chairman of the Association for Data Intermediation (AID), an association whose mission is to help define the strategy and contribute to the political choices of activities relating to intermediation and data spaces. The association brings together the professional players in data intermediation in France and Europe.
From 2014 to 2019, Xavier sat on the board of Antelliq Group, the world leader in animal intelligence solutions. The Group was sold by BC Partners to Merck for 3.25 bn€.
Xavier Drilhon graduated from Telecom SudParis (Engineering Master) and Harvard Business School (PMD72).
