François-Louis MICHAUD

François-Louis Michaud was appointed Deputy Director General of Micro-Prudential Supervision IV at the ECB on 1 March 2014. In this role, he covers a wide range of topics related to horizontal and specialised supervision, and is a member of various EBA and BCBS groups. Previously, he was Deputy Director Banking Supervision at Autorite de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution in France. From 2005 to 2009, François-Louis was a Senior Economist and Secretary to the Markets Committee at the Bank for International Settlements. Prior to that, he worked at the Banque de France in a number of roles in banking supervision (1996-2000) and financial stability (2000-2004), and was seconded to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (2004-2005). François-Louis graduated in Economics, Finance and Philosophy .
