Gabor Molnar is a Senior Fellow at Silicon Flatirons and a Research Associate in the Department of Economics – both at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research interests include technology innovations, applied Internet econometrics, and (big) data-driven policy making. Dr. Molnar has extensive experience in technology start-ups from seed-stage to post-IPO and acquisition, he came to the University after spending over 15 years in the international high-tech business. Prior to joining the University of Colorado, he was a Regional Director for Sales & Business Development at GoBackTV, a cable headend and edge solutions start-up (acquired by Aurora Networks, now part of the ARRIS Group). Dr. Molnar holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder.
