Regional development depends crucially on the deployment of public services and infrastructure networks. Many factors influence this deployment: operators' strategies, local development policies, regulation - both at national and European level - and funding constraints, not to mention major collective priorities such as the energy transition and digital transformation. This round table will explore the issues and ways of improving the local governance of public networks and services, with a particular focus on regulation.
