Frédérik Jobert, Deputy Secretary General for Ecological Planning, is an expert in transport, agriculture and biomass.
With a master's degree in finance (HEC) and a diploma in climate change science and modelling (Coursera - University of Chicago), Frédéric Jobert spent most of his career in consulting before joining the public service in October 2022.
He started at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) after graduating from HEC and worked for 15 years on energy, climate and ecological transition issues. At BCG, he held a number of positions, including head of the Climate and Sustainability practice in Paris, global head of major infrastructure project management, and global head of the Nuclear sector within the Energy practice, as a Senior Partner. In October 2022, he joined the General Secretariat for Ecological Planning as Programme Director, overseeing key initiatives such as passenger transport, the decarbonisation of agriculture, the evolution of the forest sink and the management of biomass resources. Frederik Jobert has been Deputy Secretary General for Ecological Planning since January 2024.
