Graduate of ENSTA (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées) Bretagne, Matthieu Morin started his career as an energy consultant in various consulting firms to assist his clients in the governance of their information systems. Matthieu Morin joined CRE in July 2010 as project manager for the CSPE financial clearing. In 2012, he became senior financial analyst at CRE in charge of evaluating the weighted average costs of capital of various regulated operators in the framework of network access tariffs.

Matthieu Morin is the head of the wholesale markets surveillance department at CRE since 2015.
