Diana-Paula Gherasim has worked for Eurelectric as a consultant in the field of renewable energies and was responsible for monitoring the European energy-climate legislative framework up to 2030. She also worked in ENGIE's European Affairs Department, in particular on monitoring the European Green Pact. She has also worked as a management and strategy consultant in developing countries, notably in Côte d'Ivoire and Kenya.

She holds a double master's degree in Corporate and Public Management from HEC Paris and Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor's degree from Sciences Po Paris. She also studied at King's College London.
