Benoît de Juvigny, 57, a graduate of HEC and IEP Paris, was appointed to the Inspectorate of Finance on graduating from ENA in 1984.
After various positions in the Ministry of Finance, he joined the Crédit Lyonnais Group in 1991, where he held various positions in corporate banking and then mergers and acquisitions in Paris and Brussels.
In 2000, Benoît de Juvigny joined Banque Hervet and then the HSBC-CCF Group, where he was head of strategy before being appointed Director and CEO of Banque Dewaay in Brussels, a private bank and asset manager within the HSBC Group.
In October 2004, he joined the Autorité des marchés financiers as Head of Service Providers and Savings Products. In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Issuers Department, and in 2011 he was appointed Head of the Issuers and Accounting Affairs Departments.
In November 2012, he was appointed Secretary General of the AMF, with effect from 1st December 2012.
