The aim of this thesis was to gain a better understanding of the motivations and behaviour of participants in the collaborative economy, focusing in particular on the link between monetary and non-monetary motivations. It was based on on-site experiments carried out in collaboration with a peri-urban and rural car-sharing start-up.
