Breakfast debate on October, 10th 2019
Regulatory sandboxes" were introduced in the financial sector to allow innovative companies to test new business models or new products on a voluntary basis. At a time when some regulators are planning to encourage such schemes in order to stimulate the creation of innovative applications, products or services in the sectors for which they are responsible, the question arises of transposing this model to other areas such as energy.
This document summarises the presentations and discussions that took place at the breakfast on the theme of "Regulatory sandboxes" organised by the Governance and Regulation Chair on 10 October 2019.
