Stéphanie Yon-Courtin

Stéphanie Yon-Courtin is a Member of the European Parliament (Renew Group), Vice-Chair of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and alternate member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO), the Committee on Fisheries (PECH) and the Subcommittee on Taxation (FISC).
She is also Chair of the Delegation for relations with Canada. Stéphanie Yon-Courtin was rapporteur on the annual report on competition policy and is currently ECON draftsman on the Digital Markets Act (DMA).
Stéphanie became a regional councillor for Normandy following the June 2021 elections, after serving as a departmental councillor for Calvados. Until her election to the European Parliament, Stéphanie was mayor of Saint-Contest.
Prior to her mandate as a Member of the European Parliament, Stéphanie Yon-Courtin was international affairs adviser in the office of Bruno Lasserre, when he was chairman of the French Competition Authority. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2004, specialising in competition law, and has worked in international law firms.
Stéphanie Yon-Courtin holds a master's degree in law from the universities of Caen and Bristol, and a master's 2 in European law from the Institute of European Studies at the University of Brussels.
She is president of the association Caen les femmes, founded in 2011.
She was a regular contributor to the international politics section of the journal Concurrences.
