Céline Gauer is the Director responsible for energy and environment within the Directorate General for Competition in the European Commission since 2014. She is in charge of antitrust, state aid and merger control in these sectors. Prior to that, she was Head of the Energy Antitrust Unit. She is a member of the Competition Directorate of the European Commission since 1995.
