Mathieu Leduc

Mathieu V. Leduc is an associate professor (maître de conférences) at the Paris School of Economics (PSE). Prior to joining PSE, he had worked as a research scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria, a postdoctoral fellow at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE) and has held visiting positions at ETH Zürich and Cambridge University (Department of Economics/INET Institute). He obtained his PhD from Stanford University, where he worked on network game theory. Dr. Leduc’s research focuses mainly on the economics of networks, game theory and microeconomics. He is interested in understanding how network externalities affect agents’ behavior and how to design incentives to optimize collective outcomes. He has published in such peer-reviewed journals as American Economic ReviewGames and Economic Behavior, the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Network Science
