Nadia von Jacobi is assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Trento (Italy) and Adjunct Professor for the PhD Programme in International and Public Law, Ethics and Economics for Sustainable Development at the State University of Milan (Italy). Previously, she was affiliated with the Saïd Business School at Oxford University, the Institute of Advanced Study (IUSS) and the University of Pavia. 

Her research centers on the role that institutions play for socio-economic progress, how institutional change occurs and how different institutional elements interconnect to form specific systems. She is currently elected member of the Council of the World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (WINIR) and associate editor for the Journal of Social Entrepreneurship.
