Nicole Ross is the Executive General Manager of the ACCC’s Infrastructure Division and is responsible for overseeing the ACCC’s economic regulation of nationally significant infrastructure, and for monitoring and reporting on markets of significant concern, including telecommunications, petrol, rail, ports, airlines and airports, electricity, gas, water and insurance. Nicole has worked as an economist, lawyer, policy officer and regulator in a range of government departments and agencies, including over 15 years in economic regulation with the ACCC. Most recently she has led ACCC market inquiries into gas and childcare markets. Nicole has qualifications in economics, law, writing and literature and is a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory.
