With an engineering and PhD background, Selma Souihel has developed a path at the intersection of research, software development, and the management of technical teams. She spent part of her career in the private sector, holding both technical and managerial roles, before joining Inria to lead the P16 program, a strategic initiative dedicated to developing a sovereign and interoperable AI based on open digital commons.
She is now Deputy Director of Inria’s AI Program, where she contributes to implementing the institute’s strategy in the field of artificial intelligence.
