Paul Seabright is Professor of Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics and Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse. He has taught at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and at the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris. He is a Fellow of the European Economic Association and the Centre for Economic Policy Research. He is author of many articles and several books including The Company of Strangers: A Natural History of Economic Life (Princeton UP, 2nd edition, 2010).
