Verena Weber is Economist/Policy Analyst at the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation. She is working on topics relating to the Digital Economy with a current focus on communication policy. Her recent work focuses on market trends in the Digital Economy, including topics such as developments in communications infrastructure, convergence, sensor technology, cloud computing, demand-side innovation and ICTs for development.

In 2014, she was working as an Internet Governance Advisor to the ICT Minister Diego Molano and the Comisión de Regulación de Comunicaciones (CRC) in Colombia where she developed an Internet governance strategy. Verena holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim (Germany) and an MBA from ESSEC Business School (France).
