Antonio Nicita is full professor of economic policy at Lumsa University. He is a multidisciplinary scholar embracing the study of economics, law and public policy. He is also an experienced and well-known regulation and antitrust advisor for national and international public institutions and private companies. Antonio has served for six years (2014-2020) as Commissioner of the Italian Telecoms, Media and Postal Regulatory Authority (AGCOM), since 2015 and is member of OECD Steering group on regulation & emerging technologies. His research interests currently covers the impact of digitalisation on markets and society; data and platforms economy; media pluralism and freedom of information; economics of trans-national institutions, contracts and standards.
