Jordan Cartier

Jordan Cartier has been appointed Secretary General of the French Transport Regulation Authority. A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ponts engineering school, he is also a graduate of Paris-Dauphine University in economics and finance, and of Cambridge University in science, technology and innovation policy.
After initial professional experience with the EDF group, he joined the Ministry of Transport in 2012, where he was initially head of the office for the coordination and management of road projects (southern zone), before becoming head of the office for planning and major rail operations in 2015. He was then appointed Inspector of Finance at the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF), within the economic and financial ministries, from 2017.
In March 2020, he joined the Transport Regulation Authority as deputy secretary general alongside the secretary general, Stéphanie Druon, who stepped down at the end of February 2021. He will take up the post of Secretary General on 1 March 2021.
