This is the third webinar in a series jointly organised by the OECD's Network of Economic Regulators (NER) and the Governance and Regulation Chair of Paris-Dauphine University, exploring how data and digitalisation can strengthen regulators' effectiveness, ensure trust in the regulatory system and build sector resilience, while managing new risks related to cybersecurity, governance and accountability.
Across many regulatory agencies, AI has moved beyond isolated pilots into genuine operational use, but scaling it into day-to-day regulatory work remains difficult, especially where resources and capabilities are limited. This webinar examines what it takes for AI to move from experimentation to embedded practice, and what enables or blocks that transition.
The webinar will be moderated by Annegret Groebel, Chair of NER; Director of International Relations at the German Regulatory Authority for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway (BNetzA), Germany
