Charles heads up the National Audit Office team examining delivery of public policy in the areas of consumer protection, regulation, and international trade. He is a qualified chartered accountant with extensive experience of working in the public sector and international agencies. His work has spanned a wide remit of public sector activity, with recently evaluations covering consumer protection issues such as protecting vulnerable consumers, and measuring regulatory performance. In addition to his work for the National Audit Office he has delivered projects for the United Nations, the European Union, and various governments within Europe, and previously worked in the City.
