Data and digital tools are transforming how regulators monitor sectors, anticipate risks and strengthen resilience. Access to real-time information, advanced analytics and digital monitoring systems enable regulators to proactively detect emerging vulnerabilities, test system robustness and support more informed decision making. To make use of this potential, regulators face challenges in integrating data into regulatory processes and translating insights into effective action.
This event will explore how regulators across sectors are using data and digital tools to enhance sector resilience. It will discuss practical experiences with early warning systems, stress testing and scenario analysis, and institutional approaches to support preparedness and response.
This seminar is jointly organised by the OECD Network of Economic Regulations and the Université Paris Dauphine's Club des Régulateurs
