The ACSS Research Seminar on Letter Shapes to Large Language Models: Measuring Information and Meaning will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lecture Halls 2 and 3 - Paris Dauphine-PSL University.
Using rigorous scientific methods, Institutional and Organizational Economics focuses on the theoretical and empirical analysis of institutions, organizations and contracts, as well as on the conditions under which these devices evolve.

This half-day seminar will explore the transformative role of Large Language Models (LLMs) and related AI technologies in both academic and professional financial contexts.
Growing geopolitical tensions are seriously challenging the mechanisms of international economic governance inherited from the post WW2 era and boosted by the end of the Cold War. The combination of a transactional approach in international relations with a reorganization of value chains within ‘regional’ areas or alliances seems to reshuffle trade and financial flows, as well as the circulation of technologies and critical resources. Several major intergovernmental treaties are challenged and the institutions that were built to implement them are under stress.
